I have read good reviews about the hotel before my arrival and they are all absolutely correct and true. The hotel design is well done and this is coming from an architect who has traveled the world often. The choice of furnishing from a well known designer was a pleasant surprise but the cherry on top are the Apple computers available for guest use.Rooms are well planned and beds are very comfortable. All the basic amenities are provided and then some. I was fortunate to score a room facing the back jungle which is quiet and stunningly tropical. Breakfast is another pleasant surprise. Basic but very well stocked with both western and local favourites. Service across the board are professional and friendly. Thank you for a very pleasant stay in KK.

My first time staying at Holiday Inn Express @ HIE. I like it very much. The female counter staff served me that day are friendly and approachable. I love the location, there is enough parking, the room and atmosphere in this hotel. Cant fault anything. The price are fit for budget and business traveller. You will love this hotel. For the food, i had breakfast in the morning. Food are quite good and love the coffee and juices. However i would love it, if pastries will have lots of varieties.Already booked my next visit this coming December.Fully recommended to stay at HIE.

Since childhood, parent bring us to holiday in a few times due to the budget and comfort level. Holiday inn was in KL in since 70s or 80s and for east Malaysia. This might be the first. To showcase the international quality service of hotel in KK, i recommended proper valet service where owner dont have to drive their car to the parking. Valet take care of parking and retrieving of vehicle. East Malaysia dont understand this concept. They thought valet parking is park at special assigned parking.

TV ialah TV pintar dengan Youtube.Sarapan pagi adalah baik, termasuk kacang dan roti bakar, nasi lemak, buah-buahan, mesin kopi.Tempat letak kenderaan percuma yang luas (di luar rumah semasa lawatan pada 21 Dis)

Perkhidmatan yang tidak memuaskan di penerimaan tetamu, kurang profesionalisme juga. Saya menunggu lebih 1 jam hanya untuk mendaftarkan diri, tambahan pula saya telah pun membuat tempahan beberapa hari sebelum ini dengan terperinci. Pada hari ketibaan saya, saya menghadapi masalah mengenainya di mana bilik saya masih belum siap dan penyambut tetamu agak kasar, memandang rendah pada saya. Saya sangat tersinggung dengan perlakuan kasar itu. Selain itu, saya menelefon penyambut tetamu dari bilik saya dan saya memerlukan beberapa panggilan untuk melaluinya. Mereka pun mengangkat telefon tetapi tiada jawapan dari sebelah sana. Walau bagaimanapun, saya berpuas hati dengan kebersihan, sarapan pagi; facilties juga tip-top.

Everything was well maintained, such as good shower system, after a long day of work i love to get a hot shower with high water pressure, and this hotel really knows how to please their guests with the shower system, besides that they uses smart tv, which makes my video conference so much pleasurable. Pintu tandas boleh diayun untuk menutup kawasan pancuran mandian atau tempat duduk tandas. Peti sejuk mini, peti keselamatan, seterika disediakan. Tetapi anda perlu meminta di kaunter penerimaan tetamu untuk sikat, krim pencukur, pisau cukur, sikat gigi, bulu kapas, produk sanitari wanita dan pergi ke bawah untuk mengambil sendiri. Saluran 8tv tidak dapat ditonton. Terdapat AXN, FX, dunia KBS, saluran Discovery, TLC, NHK, Bloomberg TV, TVBS Asia, berita BBC, berita info Phoenix, Astro Supersport, filem Celestial , HBO, Nickelodeon dan beberapa FM. Cuma yang tidak berpuas hati ialah bekalan kuasa (soket) tidak dipasang di tempat/ketinggian yang betul kerana meja menghalang palam.

Pada waktu pagi kami melawat hotel baru di bandar ini dan lawatan kali pertama saya.Kami fikir ini adalah tempat yang sesuai kami menempah makan malam untuk musim perayaan. Dan kami meletakkan kereta kami di tempat letak kereta di bawah teduhan pokok. Terdapat banyak tempat letak kereta. Saya melihat CCTV di tempat letak kereta jadi tempat ini agak selamat.Kami berjalan beberapa meter ke arah hotel dan di sana orang ramai menjamu selera di Kafe Hotel. Jadi, kami berjalan masuk ke hotel selepas mengimbas Mysejahtera dan suhu kami.Anak-anak perempuan saya terus ke kaunter penerimaan tetamu. Mereka ingin bertemu orang di hotel itu yang bertanggungjawab dalam tempahan untuk Makan Malam Perayaan tetapi malangnya kakitangan di kaunter teragak-agak untuk tidak membenarkan mereka berjumpa dengan orang itu. Walaupun anak perempuan saya berkeras tetapi kakitangan tidak diendahkan.Saya tertanya-tanya kenapa? Kerana saya telah melawat dan menginap di banyak hotel tempatan di Malaysia atau negara lain tetapi kakitangannya ramah dan membantu.Saya minta maaf untuk mengatakan ini. Sekurang-kurangnya, kakitangan perlu menghubungi orang yang bertanggungjawab untuk tempahan itu terlebih dahulu. Kami kecewa.Saya masih ingat ketika pertama kali ke Baitulmaqdis. Saya ditemui oleh kakitangan hotel dan membawa saya ke ruang tamu di mana terdapat ramai orang Yahudi yang sedang menikmati Hi Tea. Ia seperti perayaan Yahudi. Jadi kakitangan mengajak saya untuk minum dan makan apa sahaja yang saya mahu. Wah! Saya seperti tetamu istimewa. Saya mengucapkan terima kasih atas pelawaannya. Saya bertanya kepadanya sama ada saya boleh menjemput rakan-rakan saya untuk menyertai dan dia berkata Boleh. Jadi saya pergi ke semua kawan saya yang sedang menunggu daftar masuk dan menjemput mereka untuk Hi Tea.Oleh kerana teragak-agak kakitangan tidak membenarkan anak-anak perempuan saya bertemu dengan pegawai yang lain, anak perempuan saya bertanya di mana dewan makan hotel, dan dia menunjuk ke meja-meja yang disusun dengan baik sepanjang perjalanan ke kaunter penerimaan tetamu. Anak perempuan saya juga bertanya sama ada meja itu boleh disatukan, jawapannya Tidak walaupun dalam keluarga kerana SOP katanya. Nah, bukan masalah besar. Kami berjalan keluar.

Hello thank you for reminding me to give a review. regards to our stay, we had bring along our kid (5yrs old) at the hotel. we were suppose to feel relax but our stay was not so peaceful and somehow feel offended by your staff.we dont really know about bringing kid to hotel is allowed or not. but if kids cannot stay in the hotel, why at first place you guys allow the reservation? we aware that kid cannot be seen in the public area (the front office informed during check in), but the way the front office staff treat us is quite annoying.1. for breakfast, me and my husband went to breakfast together and leave our son in the room sleeping. 2nd day breakfast was ok. but during the evening, staff call us and ask us to choose in room service meal for 3rd day breakfast, instead. which my husband didnt agree. he say we pay for the breakfast and he prefer buffet. u guys already know only the 2 of us that went breakfast that morning, y bother to ask for in room breakfast? we feel alienated.2. on 2nday, we went out to a mall. and when we came back, houskeeping is making room. so husband ask us to wait in the lobby. but ur staff keep asking are u going out again? and seems very uncomfortable with us sitting at the lobby. it just for a while though while waiting for the houskeeping. why need to ask my room number, and whether we will go out again etc. isnt it our freedom to go where we wanna go?3. during room call about breakfast previously, i also request to do a late check out. and the person says she take note and give us late check out at 1pm. i agree to that. but the next day, front office call us around 12.15pm asking whether we want to extend. u guys did have communication or not? then my husband says we gonna check out soon at 12.30pm. so we went off at 12.30pm. i feel alienated and annoyed. we pay for 3d2n but as if we were not welcome there. just because we bring a child. this is our 2nd time staying here. as we like how the room is prepared with extra bed for my son. but somehow, this gonna be our last.

Ia adalah hotel yang bagus, sememangnya. Bersih dengan pemandangan yang bagus. Pengemasan melakukan kerja yang baik. Harga yang berpatutan menjadikan saya tetamu mereka.

Keramahan yang baik, daftar masuk cepat. Bilik besar, bersih dan selesa. Sarapan pagi sedap cuma perlu elakkan waktu puncak. Segala-galanya adalah baik.

Kami menempah 5 bilik, ini adalah hotel baru. Semua perabot dan peralatan baru. Aircond terlalu berkuasa walaupun pada tahap celcius tertinggi.

Generally has met the standards for holiday innexpress, however this stay in kota kinabalu is a better experience. Probably due to covid19 situation the staffs are All attentive and very pleasant indeed. I hope the they will not slacken! Shades for vehicles are important as it gets quite hot in KK in the day time . Space is a constraint I understand but with a little imaginycan be solved.

The staff are very helpful and the bed is super comfortable until i couldnt wake up almost everyday during my stay.

As this hotel is a new one, we love the interior design of the lobby, room and toilet. Very comfortable room, clean, safe and big. It was beyond our expectation for an express hotel like this. We had some problems with the food when we had dinner, but the problems were well tackled by the staff. We will definitely stay here again for our family short vacation.

I have no complaint for Holiday Inn KK except for compliment to staff services, room facilities , cleanliness and really appreciate the hospitality that Holiday Inn KK provide during my stay here.The only reason that perhaps to be consider is that the parking.-not sure why it provide parking ticket when this hotel situated in it own land area and no others hotel or office besides this area. I believe it should open the barrier and no need to issue a parking ticket. A cost saving to hotel actually

What a great year to begin my 1st stay at Holiday Inn Express, Kota Kinabalu. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful... even the security was very polite to all customers. The room was surprising spacious compare to other Holiday Inn Hotel that I ever stay in another country and plus it was super cosy and clean. The breakfast they served was okay and typical Malaysian style. The location was superb and it was right at the center of the town.

Staffs are very friendly, cleanliness is excellent, hotel premises have their own car parking for guest.

Had a superb experience staying at Holiday Inn Express Hotel Kota Kinabalu. The staff was very helpful and nice during the check in up to the check out. Even the guards gave welcoming gestures all the time which shows how friendly the overall staff of the hotel is. The lobby was fresh and well kept, and the rooms was very clean. I had a comfortable stay and will surely come again.

Nice and comfortable room, located at the centre of the city, easy to access, walking distance to shopping more and walking market.

Basically 80% of the breakfast are similar. Only 3 to 4 dishes changed. Most of the main dish are not so good. I would say some nasi campur stall serves better food than your hotel. I stayed for 5D4N. I gave up the breakfast on the last day of my stay by walking to the sinsuran for a bowl of delicious sarawak laksa.Pls look into how others cook... try those stores and look into variety of malaysian breakfast. I was very disappointed with the very basic symbolised malaysian breakfast.. Nasi Lemak. I simple rice also failed.... The rice cooked by my wife taste even better

The hotel is strategically located at the epicenter of Kota Kinabalu, and also has great access and exits.Overall the hotels decorations, rooms, foods and services are outstandingly beautiful, friendly and clean.However the carparks require a little user friendly settings.All in all, this is a great place to stay for any occasion required. 我们连续两天住在这里.两天的早餐我老公都选择西式的.失望的是,早餐都没变化,可以说95%相似.加上整体看起来完全没食欲（食物的颜色都是几乎一样的）.希望花点心思,在餐饮方面.本来以为是我们挑食的问题,但发现其它餐桌上,也剩下的食物还蛮多的.

用新年特享價入住一晚过元宵，还附免费早餐。西式早餐选择不多但是pastries 很好吃。房间设施一流，有you tube电视节目，淋浴花洒很棒。酒店附近食店，海鲜餐馆步行就到了。

Stay was perfect for business trips. Bed was really comfortable. Toilet was clean and well maintained. Breakfast currently have less options, however the food served were delicious.

The staff was very helpful and polite. Great customer service.Room are clean and new. Room noise isolation is not that good as I can hear it clearly. Air conditioning are super cold when it is turned on.

Spacious room. Clean. Reasonable breakfast spread. Only thing that can be improved is to leave the laundry list and a pen in the room rather than pick up at the reception.

The hotel is generally very clean and despite having the dining area near to the lobby, there is no smell and in fact the hotel smells really good. The staffs are very helpful and we asked the staffs for some IT technical help, and they are able to resolve our problem within 10 minutes.

The hotel is located in downtown Kota Kinabalu. Nothing is more than a 15 minute walk. It is exactly what is advertised. No pool, small but well equipped gym, good beds, fantastic coffee and breakfast.

Everything is good! The only thing that I would recommend to improve is the breakfast menu, the tomato rice is quite hard and dry. Not so many choices. Other than that, everything is perfect!
